The location of Vila Roca is a gem. From this place, one can take endless tours and hikes in nature - provided you have a car. The resort as such is a delight in terms of the quality of services it offers. One can see the thoughtfulness that went into every detail, from the cuisine to the staff warmth, room set-up, and overall sense of the place. The rooms are spacious and well furbished (I appreciated the Nespresso maker to fuel our long hikes). The spa is cozy and the pool is really warm. The outdoor space is delightful, mainly during the day when it's really quiet and peaceful. All in all, a wonderful location and stay.
It could be helpful for guests to know in advance that the location has poor (or no) phone reception - this can be compensated via WiFi usage and calls. Equally, it can be useful to know that there is an open entertainment area (music and movie projection), which usually operates until 23.00. If you're an early sleeper looking for silence sooner than 23.00, this could be a challenge.

Locatie buna, foarte linistita desi erau destui turisti in hotel. Am apreciat dotarile camerei, faptul ca a fost cald in camera si am avut apa calda tot timpul. De asemenea erau halate de baie pt fiecare turist cazat, papuci de casa si prosoape special pt mersul la piscina. Piscina cu apa calda, dar nu exagerat - aprox 29C. Saunele si mic dejunul continental ok.
As fi apreciat mai multe produse locale (branza, lapte) si sa fie puse in evidenta. Cred ca asta ar face diferenta intre un hotel din Apuseni si orice alt hotel dintr-o locatie oarecare. De asemenea, optiunile din meniul pt pranz si cina mi-as fi dorit sa fie mai variate. Exista variante high class, dar nici un gen de preparat local.

The dirty towels we found in our room. The old man spitting in the pool while swimming, the dirty showers and toilets from the pool area and the poor breakfast management.
