Rooms are nice and in good shape. Each room is in its own separate cabana. The swimming pool is large and we enjoyed it a lot during our stay. There are many howler monkeys around the hotel. Throughout our stay we could often hear and observe them. Hotel is walking distance from the entrance of the Palenque archeological zone which made it convenient for visiting the ruins without having to pay for parking.

Not all staff was always friendly and several of them made us feel like we were not welcome. Restaurant was expensive and we had to find better options in downtown of the city 15 minutes away by car. We were not allowed to bring our own drinks around the pool. They have a policy where only drinks bought at their bar (extremely expensive) were allowed. In the end, it felt a bit like everything was tuned to get more money from your pockets as much as possible. They have no flexibility on early check-in time, even if rooms have already been cleaned up and are available. You will have to wait until 3pm to check-in.

The resort, staff, service, pools, everything was exceptional. The staffs were very helpful with instructions on how to get to palenque archaeological site. We took a taxi from the resort to the ticket center, where we hired a guide for the archaeological site and forest walk, which was very helpful. Took the same taxi upto the entrance of the site. And returned via collectivo. Alternatively, if its not too hot, you can choose to walk to the ticket office from the resort and take a collectivo upto to the entrance of the site.

There was nothing I did not like. There are other reviews complaining about the food, pool and staffs, but i did not find any issues. I highly recommend this resort.

The Best Place to stay ever. If I could, I would live there. The Food is Amazing, we could Even See the birth of a monkey and a lot of animals. The Taxi Service was Great, the people in the Restaurant Amazing, although love the cat there :) best place ever

Our bungalow was clean and comfortable. We liked the privacy it afforded.

The food in the restaurant was not good. Several dishes were actually inedible. The French toast was raw, the eggs were overcooked and the waiter did not seem to care or know how to do his job. The food was WAY overpriced. The pool was nice, but there were too many rules.
