Don't stay here and don't trust the host

We collected the keys from a restaurant half a block away from the location

We booked this apartment for 3 nights and the AC didn't work for any night! We informed the host on the first day itself and she acknowledged the AC not working and that she would send someone to look at it. However, they weren't able to send anyone for 3 nights straight which was unbelievable. The apartment is a 3-storey walk up and it was extremely hot in the apartment. Going up the stairs and not having AC in hot summer was not what we signed up for. I can understand if the AC didn't work for a night but not working for 3 nights is the worst customer service experience. We had to keep the windows open for some air to come in but that meant that mosquitoes also made their way in and my kids and us did not sleep for 3 straight nights. It was the worst travel experience of any we have come across. The host did acknowledge and apologized and said "you will get a refund" but that refund ended up being only 18%. I asked if they can simply refund the whole amount so I can find another hotel in the city but neither would they get on a call, nor send messages via booking.com app. They only exchanged messages via whatsapp. My wife on the last day got a heat stroke and extreme fever. Oh, and by the way, they charge you Eur200 "cleaning fee" but expect you to take your trash down 3 floors to the garbage bin before leaving (which is not something they mention on booking.com either). I am adding photos of few of the many mosquito bites my kids had
