Lovely cottage full of character in a convenient sport for exploring Southwold and Covehithe. Good options for food in the village and parking easy. Beds comfortable and cottage very well equiped. Bus stops right outside which was great for visiting Southwold without the hassle of parking.
The noise from the road wasn't well blocked out because of the sash windows but we knew it was on a main road and it was quieter as the night went on. Although handy to have it a walk away, he local shop didn't stock much variety.

The cottage was ideally situated with a bus stop outside the door. The kitchen was well equipped with very nice welcome pack.

Well equipped accommodation, thoughtfully decorated and presented. We loved the bee themed details. Garden secluded and secure for dogs. Essentials also provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Great location to access the local area including Southwold.
Whilst on the main road (we knew that when booking), the traffic wasn’t an issue but it is best to shut the windows in the bedroom at night.

The house was clean and relatively comfortable
The house smelt musty as soon as we walked in, the place was dark and smaller than we expected. The gardens back and front were very overgrown and neglected. I contacted the owner who suggested the floorboards caused the musty smell also saying the garden had been allowed to go wild.
The house needs brightening up to make it more appealing and the bushes in the garden could do with a tidy up at least.
