This is a pretty one-bed apartment in Marina Grande, a small fishing village within walking distance of Sorrento. It is perfectly placed to explore the area with lots of restaurants nearby.
Lucia was incredibly helpful to deal with, making initial contact a few days before we arrived, and meeting us when we arrived at Marina Grande. She showed us around the apartment and had very thoughtfully left water & juice in the fridge and some breads & jam for our first breakfast. Lucia also gave us some great recommendations about places to eat.
The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, well equipped with kitchen utensils, washing machine (and pods which was also very thoughtful), hairdryer and iron. There is a balcony off both the bedroom and dining/sitting room, with washing lines and clothes pegs available for use on the lower balcony.
The apartment is on 2 levels. The bedroom, bathroom & shower are accessed by a narrow, spiral staircase while the kitchen, dining/sitting room and second toilet are downstairs. There is also a sofa bed in the dining/sitting room. The large double bed upstairs is quite comfortable and there is plenty of storage in the room.
It must be noted that this apartment is on the top floor of the building, accessed only by stairs (65 steps). Don’t let this put you off though. We would stay again here in a heartbeat. One huge advantage for us was that the apartment was literally just steps from the beach. Sunbeds were available for €10 for a full day and €10 for a parasol- very cheap in comparison to Sorrento. However, you can also just put your towel on the sand at no cost.

Spacious, comfortable and good air-conditioned and amenities. Excellent location and good communication.
Not much we didn't like just the stairs but that's to be expected in many italian buildings

Lucia made us feel completely at home, welcoming us like friends coming to visit. She was incredibly kind and answered all of our questions, sharing helpful tips on transportation, restaurants, and wonderful places to explore around Sorrento
