The ratio of quality and price is excellent. In relation to the price, the location is excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Uskudar (well connected by bus lines). Buses are very frequent and affordable. In the immediate vicinity there is everything you need - supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, fast food, pharmacies, hairdressers, etc. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are very large and pleasant to stay in, the beds are comfortable
Cleanliness could have been a shade higher. (Bathroom and bed were clean) but drawers, closets and wooden surfaces could be cleaner. We had a problem with getting the invoice that we needed to reimburse the costs of the stay. Namely, the invoice (with the correct first and last name) could be obtained by paying in cash (euros or liras). In the case of payment by credit card, foreign banks (in this case in euros) issue only a slip, and an invoice with name and surname is possible in that case, but with an additional payment of about 30% of the booked price. They had an explanation that it was due to some transactions in Turkish lira, taxes or some other fees, I don't know, it wasn't clear to me. I did not travel often, but my colleague says that this was not the practice in other hotels and countries where she stayed.

The room was spacious, and because the windows faced the courtyard, it was pleasantly quiet with no issues from street noise. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the location was quite convenient for getting around and exploring the area.
The air conditioning worked very well.
Apartment with some dated elements and a minor issue with the shower.
Amenities were quite limited (only one roll of toilet paper and two small bottles of water for two guests), which affected overall comfort.
The photos on Booking.com also feel quite enhanced compared to reality — the hotel is not bad, but it definitely doesn’t look as polished as shown online.

Dear Booking.com, I just returned from my trip to Turkey and booked my hotel with you. The dates of my stay were from August 24th to August 30th. The price was set at $385 for 6 days, and the offer included airport transfers upon arrival and departure. Initially, the price I was supposed to pay in dollars was changed to euros, increasing from $385 to €420. I was then told that the transfer was not included and that I would have to pay an additional €52 for departure. When I texted to arrange airport pickup, I was told that my check-in was at 2 PM and that I didn't have transportation. My question is, will Booking.com reimburse me for the price difference? Thank you for your assistance.
