Lots of stairs limit its suitability

The apartment is one of five, and mine was spacious and well equipped. Please note: there are a LOT of stairs - about 65 to reach my apartment + 15 more (very steep) stairs to reach the sleeping platform. Luckily I'm a fit 67-year-old but this really MUST be made clear in the description. Parking was plentiful and nearby.

The price includes a €24 cleaning fee. Fair enough but, having paid that, I object to be asked to strip the beds and deliver the sheets and towels downstairs and the waste to the bins. This isn't a youth hostel. The earliest check-in is 16:00. That compares unfavourably with other stays I've enjoyed on this trip, and not necessary when the place is managed remotely. (I was in by 15:30)

Nice apartment, free parking.

Nice modern apartment, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The apartment is ideally situated if you need somewhere close to the motor way, but not so close you can hear the cars. Parking was free and located directly opposite the property.

When we arrived it was almost midnight so it was pitch black, and the lights in the main room did not work. There was also no toilet roll at all, not even a toilet roll holder, so it was just lucky we had some tissue with us. The host asks that you take your rubbish out to the bin across the road upon departure, and that you strip the beds and put the sheets and towels in a bag which you then take downstairs to leave in a laundry bin. No such bag was provided, so although we did strip the beds, even if there was a bag we had two small kids and suitcases, and our apartment was on the top floor with no lift, I don't expect to have to make trips up and down the stairs with laundry when a €21 cleaning fee is included in the booking fee.

Lovely quirky accommodation near the beach.

Lovely quirky place. Not far from beach and local bakery. Easy parking. Clean accommodation. Nicely decorated.

We didn’t have enough towels. We were a family of 4 adults with only 2. We did ask the host but the communication wasn’t fantastic and this wasn’t rectified. We were also missing a pillow case and had to use a t shirt.

Lovely quirky loft apartment

I loved the style of the apartment. It was decorated well. It was crisp and clean, it was laid out really well. It is a quirky little place which I love. My daughter slept in the bed. I slept on the sofa but there was also an additional bed available that could be put up but as we arrived late we didn't want to make noise. It was super comfortable. There was additional bedding if needed and pillows, blankets etc. Free parking too. Shower room was huge. Separate toilet too. Kitchen well equipped. Good location it's 15 minutes from Belguim so we were able to go there and visit France. We did an extreme day out and it was the perfect location!

Communication was not sent in English so I had to copy paste and use Google translate each time. I did ask for it to be sent in English but it kept coming in French. Other places I've stayed at they send information in both the home language and English. In terms of accommodation one of the external blinds we couldn't get to work so was super bright in the morning. Perhaps could add internal ones too just in case. But despite those 2 things I loved this place. I would definitely stay again. The pictures are accurate on here but it's much better in person.
