Plakias Resorts

Fabulous location far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. The bed was really comfortable and being upgraded meant i could stretch out. The pools are lovely and the complimentary wine and fruit appreciated. All in all a wonderful luxurious stay

Plakias Resorts was such a great place to stay, great pool area, two large pools and a small mini pool, we were there in July and never struggled to get a sun bed. Only 2 minutes across the road from the beach so could walk between beach and pool throughout the day. The hotel has a beach bar that served food and drink, good selection of meals. The staff were lovely, always helpful and really friendly and the cleaners did a great job daily of cleaning the apartment and keeping the pool area clean. There was a spar supermarket about 5 minutes walk away. The main town was a 10-15 minute walk but it didn't matter as we found the beach was nicer where Plakias Resorts was. The hotel organised the transfer from Chania airport and then we used the same taxi service to take us to a couple of towns in the hill in the evening. Nice friendly drivers. Great resort, so glad we chose Plakias, the wind worried me but we were there for 2 weeks and had only 4 days of really windy weather and on these days we stayed around the pool.

Well appointed villa in a great location. Villa and pool cleaned daily. Friendly staff. Very close to beach, tavernas and beach bars. Good access to Plakias town.

The wind! Plakias is quite possibly the windiest location I have ever stayed. I know this is not in the hands of the resort, but it would have been nice to know in advance. Also, taxis are rather expensive and not entirely reliable.
