Close to Waikīkī
Sofa a little dirty, had some stains

Location is pretty good - and #20 bus was useful to go places to meet up with local family members - eg. HomeDepot kids day, Kid Center and so on. Plenty of ABC and Starbucks nearby. Prety quiet. Easy to use door lock system, elevators only busy at a few times.
The Banyan had several morning fire drills, some announced as drills, others not. Quite inconvenient once I knew they were drills but really quite annoying for example when in the shower. The AC unit is really noisy, but that seems to be the case for most places in Waikiki. I never tried the coffee shop on ground floor, having one is probably a plus, and the little store there had a strange selection of stuff, nowhere near any of the ABCs. The weather was wet but there were no rental or borrow umbrellas at the front desk area.
