We are a family group of 9 with both grandparents, one with mobility issues. The staff and Omran the manager were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. I was wisked off to a cash point when I needed to go on arrival, my father in law was given every assistance, we were escorted to a great restaurants and given all manor of useful advice and information. Omran also organised us knowledgeable, friendly tour guides/Egyptologists, excursions and river crossings for a reasonable rate and with no hassle. It's a one stop solution to the West bank of Luxor. Just let yourself sip a fresh guava juice, offered by the house, while your feet dangle in the pool and relax, you are in good hands. Thank you Moon house and the team.

A few minutes walk to public ferry. The property is clean, modern and well cared for, has a pool, good sized room with balcony, aircon and ceiling fan.

Had everything going for it: in a quiet area, a few minutes walk from the public ferry, good size room with a balcony, had both air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and a sparkling clean pool.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they make a lot of effort to make you feel home. They helped us with the taxi a lot, and paid it since it did not come on time. This was very considerate. The room was clean and breakfast was abundant and delicious with a very nice smoothie drink. The house was clean and beautiful. Location is very convenient to visit sites on the Western bank of Luxor (valley of the kings and many temples). There are many restaurants nearby, and the ferry to the other side of the river is also close (2 min walk).
The loud recitation was played the entire Friday on the lobby, and it was so loud that you could hear it in the rooms and basically everywhere in the hotel! On other days than Friday, the recitation was only part of the day. This is not good, since some quests come to the hotel to rest also during the day.
On New Years Eve there was a party until Midnight in the hotel: the noise and the shisha smoke was disturbing even in the rooms. The hotel owners did not consider the possibility that families (especially with children) do not participate a partly with shisha-smoking and go to sleep early.
The room was was quite small and it was not cleaned and the beds were not made at all during the whole three days we were there. For the price, daily cleaning is expected. The view of the room was dull: just some concrete in the alley.
You cannot cancel after booking: the hotel informed us that there will be a party only after reserving the room. If we had known that in advance, we would not have booked.
The shower curtain was loose and partly on the toilet seat. The curtain rail was loose. Loose electric cables around the TV set (see pics). There was a loud noise from the water pipes or water boiler (?) that could be heard many times during the night. Although there are many good aspects in the hotel, the noise from different sources is central for many tourists - at least for us it was - and therefore the low rating.
