The location is fantastic — an easy launch point to explore the city, with quick access to both La Pigna (the old town) and the waterfront. Just a heads up for future guests: Sanremo is hilly with lots of small steps throughout the city, so come prepared to push and occasionally lift your luggage. I traveled with a backpack, which made getting around much easier, so I'd recommend packing light if you can.
Elisabetta was a wonderful, attentive host. The place itself was easy to find, and she went above and beyond by providing a step-by-step video recording as a backup guide in case we needed it. That kind of thoughtfulness made the whole check-in process stress-free.
There's no air conditioning, so it can get a bit warm during the summer months. There are fans provided to help with air circulation, which did help, but guests who are especially heat-sensitive may want to keep that in mind.
