The location couldn’t have been better! You can enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on a cliff, looking at the ocean.
It takes only a minute to get to a lovely, golden sand beach. It wasn’t overcrowded, which was great. It stretches all the way to Peniche, great thing for those who like long walks).
There’s a small supermarket down the street with all the essentials. There’s Aldi and Lidl supermarket in Peniche.
The villa was spacious, a lot of furniture to put your belongings. You have two balconies, one with the ocean view, the other facing the garden.
Ricardo was very nice and really helpful. When we asked for a few extra towels and pillows, he delivered it the very next day. Really good communication altogether.
It would be great to have more garden furniture, especially chairs, as there were only two (and 6 of us). Having chairs and a small table on balconies would also be lovely (we left one chair on the terrace and used the other one on one of the balconies).
We found beds quite hard (especially the children).
Top floor rooms were (not surprisingly) very hot. There was an air conditioner in each room but unfortunately no controllers to turn them on.
It would be great to have an instruction for the washing machine.

Die Lage! Man kann nachts die Wellen rauschen hören und wacht mit dem Blick auf den Ozean auf! Ganz kurzer Weg zum Strand. Sehr gute Betreuung durch den Verwalter, der sich um kleine Mängel sofort gekümmert hat, frisches Obst zur Begrüßung
Für unseren Geschmack zu harte Betten, und der Pool dürfte etwas häufiger gereinigt werden. Man merkt hier und da, dass die Anlage schon etwas älter ist (schwergängige Schiebetüren etc) Allerdings geht hier auch ein sehr salziger und sandiger Wind vom Meer her, so dass ein Alterungsprozess sicherlich schneller voranschreitet als anderswo. Die naturnahe Lage macht das aber bei weitem wett

Direkt am Strand, Pool direkt am Haus. Alles nötige war fußläufig erreichbar. Gute Surfschulen in der Nähe.
Keine Möbel zum draußen sitzen.
Sehr harte Betten.
