Fijne communicatie, er werd met ons meegedacht toen we veel te vroeg aankwamen. We konden onze spullen achterlaten en zelfs achter slot en grendel als we dat wilden. De parkeerplek is beveiligd en er is een heerlijk zwembad te vinden + een grote keuken waar je gebruik van kan maken. Ook het bed en de kussen + de badkamer waren goed!
De hanglamp deed het niet, dus ‘s avonds wat het uitpakken wat lastiger, maar geen groot probleem verder.

El personal, los encargados la dueña… maravillosos, trato inmejorable. La habitación perfecta para nosotros, las instalaciones geniales (cocina, piscina, zonas comunes,…), al lado de todo, la playa a 10’. Hemos estado tan bien que hemos alargado un día para descansar del viaje.
Sin duda si volvemos será aquí de nuevo.

Generally, this place could be perfect. The room was nice, clean, and well-decorated. The pool was amazing and relaxing. I loved swimming there or just chilling by its side. We received a lot of help from the staff there, especially Luis. I really appreciated that he helped us arrange the taxi to Nauyaca and communicated efficiently. The location was also wonderful. It was close to the tour agencies, which was perfect for us as we needed to get there by 6 am.
We experienced two events of power outages since the afternoon (~3 pm) on both days of our stay. It was unbearably hot without AC or a fan during the daytime. What's worse, the Wi-Fi didn't work without electricity, which wasn't ideal since the signal was pretty bad in Uvita. It was barely possible to connect to the internet. The second power outage was not solved by 8 pm, and the place was completely dark. We were forced to bathe in the moonlight until Luis brought us some candles and a flashlight. I understand the local infrastructure may not be advanced, and things like this are unpredictable. However, I feel this incident could have been handled better. They could have helped to rearrange us to other hotels or taken more active action. For example, they did not provide any information or assistance during the second power outage, including the candles, until I asked them. Also, we have not received any compensation (or does it require us to claim it?). I am super satisfied with all the other parts of our stay. Unfortunately, I could not leave a better review due to the reasons mentioned above.
