The Good stuff: Location location location. A short walk to the beach or Macrossan St hub. The common facilities at Marina Terraces were excellent. The generous pool and BBQs were the standout. Very clean and tidy common areas and surrounds. Unit 18 had a good TV. Aircon and fans worked well and the bed and linen were OK.
Disappointing stuff all related to Unit 18. It's entrance was between parked cars and the gate more suited to a cow barn. The unit was nicely decorated but the basics were tired and worn, eg stove, bedside table, rusty shower shelves. Very very poor internet connection in unit 18, that came and went and dropped out for hours. The managers could not rectify this, yet 10 metres away in a common area there was good connection. No exhaust fan in toilet or bathroom /laundry

Location was near beach, shops and cafes
Property being constructed next door with noise from 7am. It wasn't noted on website that this was happening. Not suitable to be lazing at pool.
