Welcome to “The Birdhouse!” This thoughtfully, well appointed beach home is located in the highly sought-after community of Watercolor. Our family-friendly 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom vacation home is ideally located on a quiet street across from the Dragonfly Pool...1 of the 9 pools you will have access to during your stay. Just a quick 3-minute golf cart ride takes you from this home's charming screened-in porch to the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Gulf Of Mexico! If you are tired of hanging at the beach just head to the private beach club and pool to hang out and cool down in one of the 2 beachfront, seasonally heated pools. Need some fun out of the sun? There you will find many amazing restaurants, unique local shops, and lots of places for your family and friends to enjoy. As you enter “The Bird House” you are greeted by the open-concept family room, dining, and kitchen area that stretches throughout the bottom floor of the home. The home’s layout is perfect for enjoying time with all of your friends and family. Also on the first floor of the home, you will find the home's large Primary King Suite, complete with a walk-in shower, double sinks, and a large walk-in closet. The small "office nook" off the kitchen is the perfect spot for you to catch up on life if you have work or school to do. A half bathroom (powder room) and laundry room are both conveniently located off the kitchen for easy guest access. Off of the beautiful family room, you will find a spacious, screened-in porch. This large screened-in entertainment area is complete with comfortable seating for the whole family and the perfect place to enjoy the gorgeous weather with your morning coffee or evening cocktails. As you walk up to the 2nd floor of the home, you will find 3 additional bedrooms and a 2nd living area!! The 2nd living area is complete with comfortable seating. The second Primary Suite is complete with a King sized bed. On the other end of the 2nd floor, you will find another guest room equipped with a 2 Full beds with a spacious private balcony with comfortable seating and another guest room with a twin/twin bunk. I came with my adult children, spouses and 1 grandbaby. House was nicely set up. I like that 3 bedrooms were on-suites, the fourth could have their own dedicated bathroom in the hallway. Golf cart was a great addition, as was the club membership. We rented bikes and took rides everyday. You definitely, want a way to get around as the house is a distance from downtown Seaside. We loved the area and will definitely recommend to others.

While there were certainly positive aspects, there were a few issues that impacted our overall stay. Upon arrival, we encountered a minor setback as we couldn't enter the property until 4 PM unless we were willing to pay additional fees. The house itself had a nice aesthetic, but I must admit that it fell short in terms of comfortable chairs and beds. The kitchen was small but stocked with pots, pans and dishes and some silverware. The availability of extra bedding was limited, which made sleeping arrangements a bit tight for 10. The bath towels provided were not of the best quality and were insufficient for our needs. One highlight was the convenience of having a six-seater golf cart available. The close proximity to the pool was also a plus, as it was only a short walk away. We did encounter some maintenance issues during our stay, a clogged shower. I appreciate that the issue was addressed and fixed within 24 hours, but it did disrupt our plans for a short while. The property's location was relatively convenient, with a public beach within a reasonable .9 mile walking distance. Alternatively, there was a pool nearby and a somewhat unkept watercolor private beach that was around a 10-minute drive or a long walk away. While there were amenities such as tennis courts, kayaks, yolos, paddleboards, beach chairs, and umbrellas available, there were additional charges associated with using all these amenities. In summary, my family's stay at the Birdhouse had its ups and downs.

The house was amazing! Very clean, beautifully decorated. The neighborhood was perfectly located. Check in and check out went smoothly! My favorite parts of the house were the gorgeous porches with the huge swings. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone traveling to this area!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Birdhouse! It checked off everything our family needed plus more! The location is close to everything and within a few short minutes from Watercolor beach and pool! We also enjoyed that we could walk 2 minutes from the house to the Dragonfly pool. The camp watercolor was within minutes away as well! The home offered a golf cart and it was so easy for us to hop on and get to Seaside within 8-10 minutes! The house was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much! We would recommend The Birdhouse because it will not disappoint you! ❤️❤️
