The house is really beautiful, and a gorgeous location with private access to the beach which is right outside the front door. It's very spacious and calm, with many areas for sitting, eating etc. There is also a gate which meant the rental car felt safe. Éléanor was an excellent host, sharing tips for dinner, excursions and local information. As well as giving us detailed directions for the route to the house from Dakar when many roads were blocked due to visiting during a storm in the rainy season.
Before arriving I wasn't aware that the running water is salt water. It was explained that nearby construction had impacted local water supplies and that this was a temporary issue but would have been good to know upfront. It meant showering in salt-water then rinsing with water collected on the property. Not the end of the world but it just made getting ready much longer and when there's only 1 shower it adds up.

Rien a redire. Magnifique endroit
