Loved the fact that it was just outside of the main town a bit, yet close to the lake (and swimming spots), as well as to a few good restaurants and a small supermarket

The location being just over the road from the lake and near where you could swim. Supermarket and couple of restaurants close by.
Terrace had a view of the lake and the island.
Host helpfully gave information on free parking about 2kms out of town which we used prior to check in.
The place was very clean
It would be helpful to have the name of the property on the door so you can find it more easily.
We knew the parking was a few minutes walk away but we did not know it was up a single lane track on a hill and that actually bringing the car down to the apartment for loading and unloading was very difficult given limited space and how hard it it to find the place what with having no signs. Perhaps we is just a little more honesty and instruction in this regard would help.
Appreciate facilities to self cater are limited to a kettle but it would be nice to provide a corkscrew for those bottles of wine on the balcony.
