Communication from the owner was good. Instructions were clear for collecting the key from the lock box outside.
The property is a whole house, so it has a lot of space, including a good size living room and good size bedrooms.
The kitchen has a good selection of utensils, hob, microwave.
One allocated parking space within a private parking area, albeit note comments below.
Handy location for visiting the local area - it was easy for us to get out of the town and up into the hills.
Price was good for a whole house.
Shower was good - decent pressure and plenty of hot water.
I did note that the outside light does not work beside the key box - a torch may be useful on dark nights.
Kitchen could do with a dishwasher really, especially for longer stays/when more than a couple of people are staying over.
Property needs a good, thorough clean, as well as some minor maintenance (e.g. toilet seat is loose).
The only negative really is the awful neighbour. You can see from the attached photo that she has placed pot plants right on the edge of her garden, making it awkward to get past if you are parked on the drive in the allocated bay. Especially awkward when unpacking and you have a larger vehicle. But worse is her shouting at visitors and snooping on what they do. While I was packing our rucksacks in our van, she came out to look at/stare at what I was doing. Then on the day we left, she opened her window and shouted at my wife about how we were late back the night before (we got back at 9pm, after having dinner at a local pub - hardly late!). She also complained about us leaving early - we had a running race to get to, so had no choice and I did actually try to be quiet when we left. Unfortunately this issue is out of control of the owner, but it would put us off ever booking again because it is upsetting, especially as we do try to think of others.
Putting aside the issue next door, I would have graded the property 8 or 9 out of 10 (higher if cleaned/maintained), so I hope my 7 out of 10 grade is reasonable, as I do understand the owners have very little control over who their house is located near to. We all come across idiot neighbours. Wouldn't life be easier if every property were detached! :-)

Location was perfect, nicely positioned for access to high street, bingo and pen y fan. Very peaceful neighbourhood and had a lovely chilled, wholesome girlie weekend

Freezer door would not open.front bedroom door latch allowed door to open and bang,bathroom door lock didnt work,toilet flush button off,frying pan was not fit for use and isnt equiped for long stays,but perfect for a day or two.
