The lady owner was very pleasant and welcoming. Very convenient location, and large, comfortable room. Although breakfast wasn't included, I was offered full use of the kitchen and tea/coffee, fruit and toast.
The shared bathroom was a bit awkward on my first night, as I had to wait for other guests to shower in the morning before I could use the loo. Anyone with mobility issues should be aware that it is an old house, meaning that the staircase is steep and there are steps up/down into rooms.

we've had a fantastic stay at Cissbury. The location, property and our host were excellent.
Maryssa was so welcoming and friendly. She also provided us with a safe space to keep our bikes for the night.
The property is near the centre of Midhurst town centre on a very quiet street and close to shops and nice restaurants. We had a very good night sleep. The property was charming and very clean.

Cissbury is a gem, you are made to feel very welcome and it is like staying with friends and family. The rooms are comfortable and the location is great for all that Midhurst has to offer
There was a lack of tea bags/milk in the room and although you are more than welcome to help yourself from the kitchen it would also be convenient to have the facilities in the room.
It is sometimes difficult to park, although I appreciate that is not in control of the owner, who also kindly does what she can by offering up her driveway as an option

A lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. The place was spotless. Simon was very friendly and ever so helpful. Deliciuos blackberries from the garden.
