Because it is a private apartment there’s no sign over the door. Stopped for a beer and recovery for the tough climb to town. Asked the lady where the apartment was and she just so happened to be in charge of checking us in to the very nice accommodation. She was very nice in forwarding an item we left behind and considered it gone. Service over and above!

After a long day walking on La Via di Francesco and hiking up the hill to Citerna, we were greeted by the host who warmly greeted us and gave us an orientation of the space. The flat had a spacious bedroom with large comfy bed, a living room to dine in, a washroom with fluffy clean towel and toiletries, an equipped kitchen with basic condiments to cook with balcony to take in the breathtaking view below and to the landscape beyond! The whole area has beautiful vistas, historic vibe, and see sunrise and sunsets. The little minimarket around the corner attached to the bar had delicious goods we enjoyed on the balcony. Wish we had stayed longer!
