We we thought we'd get away for our 20th anniversary for a couple of nights and we weren't disappointed, loved the setting on the river Severn and 10 min walk to the town. The owner of the property was exceptionally helpful and told us about the different walks in to town.
It was so Peaceful to sit out and enjoy a drink and watch the various birds in the garden and boats going by.
Had one issue with the lock which was fixed quickly by Tom and Hannah after an email.
Excellent service.!
My only comments in this section aren't really any dislikes but maybe a few ideas on making it even better
1. Black out curtains in bedroom
2. Larger TV
3. Ironing board for the iron
4. Maybe a designated parking area through the double gate.?

Situated in a good spot, close proximity to all the shops, bars and restaurants and plenty of places to visit around the area.
I was a bit disappointed that there were no shelves in the bathroom to put the toiletries anywhere.

Plenty of light, space and lovely patio area close to the river.
Could have been cleaner, toiletries were ever so basic.
We were really under-whelmed with the kitchen area and there was not much in the way of a welcome pack on arrival.
It was very awkward to get to the lodge, we had to duck under trees and walk had across the back of a wet garden, belonging to another property. It was impossible to keep off the wet grass and stay on the path as everything was so overgrown.
