Very friendly host, clean, historic building with modern comfort, excellent location in the heart of Chilham, train station within walking distance (Canterbury, London), dog-friendly. Car parking was no problem on the square close the house.
We really had a great time, felt at home and enjoyed every moment in the beautiful garden or in the cosy sitting room. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are really comfortable and the extra toilet is convenient. We also enjoyed the local pubs.

Superb location, very comfortable, clean and homely
We stayed with our dogs and some form of stair gate/ something to block the stairs would have been useful… it didn’t matter too much as we used a couple of chairs which stopped our big dog attempting them and the smaller slept in his crate
