Beautifully refurbished old stone tower property, with interesting decor and lovely private outdoor spaces.
Comfortable beds and soft towels.
Bedrooms are accessed via external stairs from the lovely shaded courtyard, which we found charming.
An additional ground floor bathroom with washing machine is very much appreciated.
Table was set for two when we arrived, which was a really nice touch.
Dogs barking during the night, but this is very common in rural areas and you just need good earplugs.

Superb ancient renovated house with a beautiful garden. Great atmosphere, comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, nice and quiet location.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was our first stop in Crete and our favourite place we stayed. It really was like having our own private retreat. It was a big space for just two of us with so many areas to relax. It's so well taken care of and John has really considered all the little things that can be missing short-term accommodation or make a stay that much better, like delicious cake. The place is located in a small village with numerous beaches and other attractions well within driving distance. We'd love to come back again and can only recommend staying!
We had to work for a couple of days, and the Internet wasn't strong enough for consistent video meetings. John was super helpful though, and the Internet can just be challenging on parts of the island. We found that we could get good enough phone reception on the top deck right by the door and was able to hotspot for work meetings. We would book again, just sharing for future working holiday guests. :)
