We had a lovely stay at L’escale in Précy-sur-Oise—a peaceful, well-located house that worked perfectly for our family. The layout was ideal: three double bedrooms (two upstairs, one downstairs), giving everyone space and privacy. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay.
The kitchenette was compact but well-equipped, with a full oven, toaster, and coffee machine—great for simple meals and morning routines. Parking was easy, right outside the house, which made unloading and day trips hassle-free.
The location was quiet and convenient. A supermarket was just a short drive away, and there’s a pizza takeaway in the village for easy dinners. Isabelle, the owner, was excellent—she communicated clearly before our arrival, gave us all the info we needed to collect the keys, and then left us to enjoy our stay. It was reassuring to know she was just a message away if needed.
Overall, a comfortable and well-managed property that made for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended for families or small groups looking for a calm base near Chantilly and the Oise region.
The house could have used a bread knife and a couple more table knives, and it wasn't obvious how to work the heating when it got cold, but other than that, it was great.
