Disappointed
The location was a perfect distance and the cabin was nice.
Customer service was horrible at the first call. First 2 calls, I did speak to one representative on Sunday and she was absolutely excellent. However, it was a bad experience. The hot tub did not work. I only I chose that cabin because we really wanted a hot tub, and so not only did it not work, I wasn't able to check-in until Saturday. Because I was not advised an additional information was needed. Even though I got a confirmation and the money had been paid. So I got a confirmation, a pin number, a text. However, there was additional documentation that needed to be signed that I thought was going to have to be signed at the property because Booking.com said that I would pick up the keys at the site. So I was assuming that once I got to the office, I would sign everything and pick up keys. However, my reservation wasn't even confirmed because they needed information. But yet, I got a confirmation text. So we drove for hours and hours with an address on booking.com that wasn't accurate. We had to check it to a hotel Friday night because we. We drove around until 11 o'clock PM in the middle of the night on the mountain. We were exhausted. We had dogs that we couldn't let out because we're on top of a mountain driving around in the dark. We had to check into a hotel spent an additional $200 and then the next day I was finally able to get a representative who told me they needed a copy of my license and my credit card in a signed document. It was a horrible experience, I missed out the whole Friday and Had to pay more money. Then once I got there, the only!! reason why I really chose that cabin was because it was a hot tub on the property, and it didn't work and they weren't able to get up a technician out because it was a holiday weekend. I'm exhausted. It was my first break from my very demanding job, and I'd been really looking forward to it; I'm disappointed.
