Absolutely amazing stay

Our stay with Save and his family was absolutely amazing. We had a good breakfast every morning, and once had an amazing fijian dinner for a great price - which was vegetarian as per our dietary needs. Save helped us booked our entire trip in Fiji, for a great price, which helped us so much because we were tired of planning after a year of traveling. On top of all of these, Save is really an amazing person with good, kind heart. We enjoyed talking to him, and we're happy we met him and found this place.

Perfect!

Loved my two short visited to Save’s homestay. Save and family are beautiful, kind people who will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfy and have what you need. He will give you recommendations on things to do in Nadi. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Fiji. Vinaka vakalevu Save!

Its worth the money and the hospitality is great!

Save and family was very accomodating. He picked me up from the port! And also helped me get around Nadi to visit a couple places like mudpool bath, sleeping giant and the hindi temple in one day for a cheaper price compared to big tour companies. I told him that i wanted to eat seafood so we went to the local market and bought a cooked fish with lots of cassava! And we ate by the beach! Save provided hot cooked pancakes for me the next morning and other options like cereals and weetbix! He was so helpful. I ran out of cash for my tours and he lent me some until i can withdraw some cash. Cheers to Save and family!

I cant complain as the accomodation was very affordable!

Rugged, rustic, and really stuffy

It was great to have a ride from the airport. Save was very communicative. I felt safe at the homestay.

The hospitality was a bit lacking. I understand Save had to leave on late notice for a funeral so his wife did the cooking/hosting. The room was not very comfortable, there was no outside window so it was really stuffy. There were bugs crawling on me in the night. The dogs were welcomed into the home but were itching themselves a lot, which made me worried about fleas/ticks. The food was not very good- breakfast was just pastries and fruit. Dinner was out of my comfort zone with pieces of chicken I am not used to eating. When we arrived Nani went straight into cleaning. I did not even know where the bathroom was or when/if we would have dinner until I asked. The dogs were barking outside early in the morning and Nani was talking on the phone at a loud volume at 530am in the living room which my room had an open window to. I wish the family the best, but i will not be returning.

Wonderful stay!

Save is a wonderful man who offers you all you need - he picked me up from the airport, he offered help in organizing a trip - with no extra charges, the same price as in the travel office, and he offered to take me to some other places for prices MUCH lower than hotels or hostels. He lives with his family in a beautiful place, with a wonderful sunset, I was served delicious breakfasts at a time convenient to me. I would have stayed longer if I could. Recommend to anyone!

My stay at Save's Homestay was truly heartwarming and unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by the genuine warmth and welcoming spirit of the people who make this place so special - Mr. Save, Mrs. Nani, Khessa, and the entire team. They made me feel like part of their extended family, and the company of other wonderful guests (M&Y), along with the presence of Bingo, the charming and responsible guard doggo, added to the sense of belonging. If we talk about awesome gastronomic experience- Mr. Save's and Mrs. Nani's homecooked Rourou Balls was an absolute masterpiece, prepared with an abundance of love and perfection. Each bite was a delightful journey of flavors, and it easily ranks as one of the best meals I've enjoyed in a long while. The unique taste of the Rourou Balls not only filled my stomach but also filled my heart with warmth, offering the comfort of a loving family away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the chance to immerse myself in Fijian culture. We had an absolute blast engaging in Fijian-style fishing and sharing a picturesque beach picnic with fellow guests. It was a memorable adventure that added an extra layer of fun and camaraderie to my trip. It's important to note that Save's Homestay offers an authentic Fijian-style experience, so it's best to leave any expectations of hotel luxuries at the door. However, what you'll discover here is something truly unique and unlike any other place you've stayed before. Remember to pack your own toiletries, sunblock, mossie repellent and other essentials for a comfortable stay. For those seeking to savor the distinct flavors of Fiji, don't hesitate to inform the hosts in advance if you'd like a special meal prepared for you. Mr. Save and the team are always eager to go the extra mile to ensure your trip and stay are both meaningful and enjoyable.

It has nothing to do with the homestay management but the development of the roadways and proper waste management in general should be given proper attention and actions by the concerned authorities (Private/Government).

Support small family business and get a real experience by staying with a lovely local Fijian family

It was a wonderful opportunity to stay with a warm local family. I had the chance to taste Fijian breakfast (for free) and dinner (for only FJ$10). I even had complimentary dinner on my first night of stay. The family is very kind and friendly, but still give you enough privacy to have your own time. They have a dog and a cat that will welcome you warmly, too. This is the most affordable accommodation you can have in Nadi.

The location is a bit far from the city center, but can be accessed via city bus easily. Also, the host offers ride with a much more affordable price than taxis. For example, the host can pick you up from the airport for only FJ$10, and take you to the city for only FJ$20. You won't expect the comfort of staying in a hotel, but you have had enough of that. But, if you are in for mingling with locals and make new friends (possibly, also with fellow travelers), then, choose Save's Homestay! That being said, come with your own towel and toiletteries. Also, do things as you do in your own home.

I cancelled immediately after seeing the place and experiencing the potholed road and driveway. It also was too far from the town centre.

Simple, friendly and adequate for the price you pay

The breakfast was nice and simple, fruit, fried cake and nice cup of tea. Adequate for us
