The Garden House was in an idyllic location on the Castle Irvine grounds. The accommodation was superb with wonderful walks outside the front door. Nestled beside a creek, it had a calming effect.

Great location, exceptionally well kept house - everyone was pleasantly surprised considering the price. Very clean with everything you would need for a longer stay. Would definitely use again
Need mirrors in bedrooms & preferably near sockets for hairdryer use. A fly swatter would've come in handy - with the location a few flies are to be expected.

The house has been really well refurbished; everything is of very high quality and very clean. The location is also excellent, just on the edge of the village and also very convenient for Lower Lough Erne. The beds were fantastically comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. And contrary to some other reviews, the Wifi worked fine for us - note that you need to select the correct Wifi network (it's NECARNE-GUEST, not GARDEN-HOUSE for some bizarre reason). We really enjoyed our brief 1 night stay here, and would happily stay again.
The Wifi network name should have been given along with the passcode. The pull cord for the light and fan in the downstairs shower room (which itself is brilliant) was broken, so it couldn't be turned off. It would be more useful to have terrestrial TV rather than to have to access everything through the Roku (plus the Roku needs to use guest mode, so you can't get into someone else's iPlayer account). It's also a shame how the Council has let the grounds and the castle get so run down, but this can't in any way be blamed on the property owners.

It was very clean and comfortable - high quality furnishings and had everything we needed. We were also greeted and shown how the heating worked - very friendly
