Swim, boat, kayak, golf, picinic. Walk to the historic town of Somesville, visit Bar Harbor, NEH, SWH, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Beal's Lobster Pound. Dine at
the fabulous Claremont hotel - all are less than a 15 minute drive away.
Built by the Philadelphia Disston family in 1924, this 2,400 sq ft. estate affords unobstructed views of Cadillac Mt. and Acadia National Park. Accessed by private road, its spacious open floor plan invites an elegant yet casual retreat with modern amenities.

Enormous chef's kitchen features professional double oven Wolf range, Viking wine cooler, Finnish Tulikivi soapstone fireplace and 7 ft. island for communal cooking/prep. Floor to ceiling windows line separate kitchen dining room, seating eight, which opens on to deck with barbecue grill. Newly renovated half bath, pantry & mud room complete 1st floor. SECOND FLOOR: Master Bedroom with 12 ftx12ft cathedral ceiling & skylight provides dramatic views morning to night.
