Cross the street and find yourself on Lakeshore Drive’s beautiful boardwalk. A short 5-10 minute stroll leads you to the park and playground, the main beach, and into the hub of restaurants. Set up your umbrella and beach towels anywhere along the way - it's almost two kilometers of waterfront! Back at the cottage you can enjoy yard games, relax and BBQ on the deck, and enjoy stories around the firepit. Inside, the open concept kitchen and living space is perfect for reconnecting with family and friends. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for a fantastic stay. The real wood fireplace adds ambiance and warmth. Retire to one of three cozy-comfy queen bedrooms for a restful sleep. Two blocks away you have access to convenience stores/gas stations and restaurants.

We loved our stay at the Cedar Cottage. It's apparent the owners have taken a great deal of care in providing everything you'd want for a stay, with a nicely-stocked kitchen for cooking, firewood for in or outdoor blazes, lots of blankets and a clean and cozy, atmosphere that has a lovely "cottage-core" decor. The deck is lovely to sit on, and the hedge surrounding the cute firepit makes for a nice private little alcove. The place is super clean, well appointed, with very comfortable beds. Communication with Denise was very quick response and so friendly. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, and it's just steps from Lakeshore Drive for a nice walk along the shore into charming Sylvan Lake. Thanks for sharing your place!

Great location just off main drag (do not trust google maps, follow directions from host) with lovely deck and yard. Nice ~20minute walk to downtown restaurants. Would stay again!

My husband and I stayed at Cedar Cottage for 3 nights at the end of Sept. We were looking for a quiet place to go for our Anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! It was just off the main street, tucked away in a quiet, private spot. There was more than enough room for us and it was super clean! Probably the cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. There wasn't so much as a fingerprint on a doorknob. The owners have definitely taken the time to make this a comfortable, cozy place. There are lots of little thoughtful 'extras'. It is decorated very nicely. And, you won't have to worry about packing and bringing salt and pepper, cooking oil, coffee, etc. We had such a nice relaxing stay and would love to go back again next year when the weather is a bit warmer and we can enjoy the beautiful deck area and fire pit. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cabin to friends or family!

our family had a lovely stay. The home was so well stocked and I loved the cute lake/ boho decor. The extra touches left for you by the hosts (chocolates/wine) was very thoughtful and so appreciated. The deck was so nice and you are 2 min to the lake. great stay, would stay again and would recommend

Everything was amazing. We had an awesome experience. The place was clean and equipped with everything the adults and the kids needed to enjoy their time on vacation inside and outside. Overall a great place! We would definitely come back again. Thank you

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend away and loved all the beautiful areas to lounge and chat and cook. The walk to the beach is beautiful. The host has thought of everything from blankets to kitchen supplies. Excellent!

We had a fabulous weekend despite the weather which wasnt! This place is so cozy and we even enjoyed the backyard and firepit with the kids! Love thar we could walk to the restaurants and shops and thebeach was right there.

Our family had a great stay at the cedar cottage in Sylvan Lake. The cottage was super close to the lake with two quiet beaches just a short walk away. There was plenty for us to do at the cottage on the bad weather days and more than enough room for our family of four to sleep in the evenings. The hosts had everything ready to go for us on arrival and even went as far as to send our iPad back to us that we left behind! Would throughly recommend booking the cedar cottage for your next stay at Sylvan, we will be back for sure!

We stayed at this beautiful cottage with our two toddlers for 4 days in July and we absolutely loved it! This stunning and cozy cottage has nice modern upgrades but still has that cottage feel! Denise's has thought of everything! Beach towels and blankets rolled up in baskets, a fire starting kit and even a choice of keureg or French press coffee! She is also is just a quick text away if anything is needed. Thanks Denise we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at your cottage. It was superb with cleanliness, organization, seamless check in/check out and had a lot of personal touches that made us very comfortable and felt welcome. Thank you so much! Location was beautiful too, secluded enough but so close to lakeshore drive that we could have walked if the weather had cooperated :-) well stocked with everything, including board games to keep the kids entertained during the rain. Simply wonderful, thank you again!
