This two-story home enjoys a corner lot on a leafy street - one that makes a scenic walking route between Camden and its equally lovely neighbor, Rockport. When it's time to get out and explore, the Mt. Battie Trailhead (one mile), Camden Hills State Park (two miles), Barrett's Cove Beach on Megunticook Lake (three miles), the Camden Snow Bowl (four miles), and downtown Rockland (eight miles) are all close by. After a day spent hiking, kayaking, or taking a scenic drive up and down Maine Route 1, return home to unwind on the screened porch, light the gas grill for an evening barbecue, and gather for dinner in the backyard. Inside, the house is full of small charms and easy character. Enjoy an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, sage cabinetry, and a center island with bar seating. Sit down for meals in the formal dining room, and pass the evening hours playing board games by the gas fireplace, streaming movies on the smart TV, and using the complimentary WiFi to plan the next day's excursions. Comfortable bedrooms and a private washer/dryer are provided as well. THINGS TO KNOW Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
