Lovely staff. They made you feel comfortable from the moment you arrived. Perfect location.

The rooms were so well done, and the shared spaces were not stuffy but very contemporary and fun. It was so well located to many lovely areas in Maine. We like the off season so we were OK with limited options in terms of dining within walking distance. Natalie’s was a great restaurant and the service was perfect. Jake - best upscale bartender ever.

No safe in the room! No elevator, narrow, steep steps! Natalie’s restaurant highly overrated! Bizarre menu! Front desk was frequently empty! Couldn’t always find someone for info! Maid did not replace the spare roll of toilet paper! We actually ran out but I had an extra roll from my previous hotel!

The breakfast was complimentary and excellent.

We were not told about the stairs in the property whereby our room was on the upper level. My husband has a bad ankle and it was extremely challenging. The stairs were extremely narrow and small and we had a difficult time navigating without holding on the rail and walking sideways down them. They also had balding carpet on the stairs that looked cheap, contributed to less traction and truly which was not the level of a Relais and Chateau. The bathroom was new and contemporary however they did not have a grab bar in the shower which would have been helpful as the shower had no surface grip on the floor.
