Are you looking to experience solitude and comfort? Come & enjoy this Riverhouse located in Monroe GA (close to Athens)! This home is spacious & unique, offering the perfect weekend getaway or longer stay. The Riverhouse has everything that you'll need to enjoy the great outdoors, nature, and the Appalachee River. With over 50 acres to explore, you'll love this unique cabin! This 4-bedroom home has many amenities including a ping-pong table, smart TVs, an outdoor fire pit, a large grill, and so much more!
The Riverhouse is spacious, with much to do on property. This home is centrally located and close to all major cities (20 mins to Athens, 25 mins to Madison, 10 mins to Downtown Monroe, one hr to Atlanta). Located 5-minutes off of highway 78, it's only a short drive to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Very close and an easy drive to the UGA games!
On the main floor, you'll find the kitchen, living room, porches, all four bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
*The kitchen is fully equip with all appliances, coffee pot & Keurig, beer/wine cooler, large grill, cooking utensils, etc.
*The living room has a large smart-TV, perfect for watching your favorite sports games and movies. Off the living room is where you'll enjoying the covered/screened in porch with a large bed swing and rockers.
*All four bedrooms and two bathrooms are located on the other side of the house.
-The Moose Room: 1 King Bed (shared Jack-n-Jill bath with Bear Room)
-The Deer Room: 2 Queen Beds (shared Jack-n-Jill bath with Buck Room)
-The Buck Room: 1 King Bed (shared Jack-n-Jill bath with Deer Room)
-The Bear Room: 2 Queen Beds (shared Jack-n-Jill bath with Moose Room)
In the basement, you'll find the laundry room and large game room. In the game room, there's a ping-pong table, couches, and a 65-inch smart TV to enjoy games and movies. In the game room, are two garage doors that open to the back yard/firepit area making this the perfect hang out space!

Beautiful home….we enjoyed our stay and hope to come again in the future! The home was a ‘gem’ off the beaten path. It was quiet and cozy. It had a lot of room for our group of eight to spread out and enjoy time together while in town for a wedding. Very easy check in/check out procedures. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great home near the Athens/Monroe area.

Rented this house for the groomsmen in my son’s wedding. It was perfect for them. Great location for them to hangout around the fire pit and explore down by the creek. The guys loved it and had a great time staying there.

One of the few VRBO that the rooms are looked like the pictures, it is an amazing house. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, just a wonderful house and location. It is a bit far in the country, we drove 20-30 min. to Athens depending on traffic. And comes with a cat, plus food to feed him (outside cat)! Lots of birds, bees, and occasional deer.
