Superb

The location, the view, the peace and quiet along with the friendly nature of the staff

The property covers an expansive area, a lot of stairs one has to be fit to move around. The price was a little higher to the facility offered.

Good view but dirty and disappointing food.

The location of the hotel is away from the busy parts of Mussourie so it was very peaceful and the view from our room was beautiful. The room was a good size and had a balcony. The staff were friendly and attentive. To reach the lobby from the room you have to walk quite a distance and up stairs and there is no cover. For people with disability or the elderly it would be quite difficult. Umbrellas should be provided in the rooms.

The bathroom drains smelled very bad. The sheets and towels were old. There was what looked like blood on the bed head. It was late at night so we decided to stay there just one night and leave the next morning. The food (we ordered biryani and the buffet breakfast) was also very average.

1.Costly - no value for money 2.No hospitality at all . 3. food not good all - breakfast ,lunch and dinner buffet and al cartae staff - restaurant not bothered about services Asked for tea at 730 am in restaurant they took 30 min ( official break fast time is 730 ) but they were serving tea to room services in front of me they were carrying tea thermos,can’t they accommodate one tea chef- breakfast when I asked dosa from live counter (830 am) official time for breakfast is 730 am onwards. chef disappeared for 40 min by the time my breakfast was over. they were charging for kids play room services

Mussourie is over rated where everything is over priced and not worth the money spent. Worse are the taxi guys who charg

A little away from the main market (Library Chowk). Taxi drivers charge 300 rupees for a distance of just 2.5 kms one way.

Exceptional

Property is beautiful, staff is very good. Service is quick. Buffets are nice too. Property location is best and peaceful. Parking was easy.

Had to walk alot. Could be difficult to get someone with knee problems.

Lot many stairs, booked buffet cannot be given in room, no matter if u have taken buffet for all the family members. More precision on Ala carte.

Sterling Mussoorie experience

We liked the property and our mountain view suite. The view from the suite was awesome. Restaurant ambience and food was awesome. Even the staff were courteous and helpful. Special mention to Mr. Praveen from Front Desk and Mr.Pradeep from the restaurant

Senior citizens, people who have difficulty in walking should check with property first before booking the room. The rooms in the property is downhill and while coming up walking the steps will be a task. Proximity and ways to reach between room and reception, dining should be improved. Ours was technically the last room in the property so we faced difficulty while walking as there were 100 steps to be covered uphill,luckily for us it didnt rain however we were wondering what we would have done if it rained. Even faced issues in mobile network. Wifi upto 2 devices are complimentary and once you register the device then you cannot change it. Apart from 2 devices if you want to use other wifi then its chargeable.. found it to be a constraint.

the place is great with all the facilities available inside. they also have different activities going on within resort on daily basis. good place to be with family. good food and great staff. you also have parking facility available amazing view from the suite with a view. you see entire dehradun and the valley

its a little on the inside, with very narrow road connecting to the resort from mall road. most of the times you will find a jam as most places on the road are single lane and with traffic coming from both sides, you can be stuck for hours far from mall road.. not walkable. IRD is available only till 10.30pm also be aware with family, if booking cottages - the last cottage is around 200 stairs down from reception. so with elders it can be a problem. staff is cooperative but. if available they try and adjust

The view from the room is spectacular. Nice facilities. Good food and friendly staff.

The rooms are downhill and is not recommended while traveling with elderly and infants. The food is priced high. The network is poor too,but the situation is same through out Mussorrie.
