There was honestly so much to love about our stay. When we arrived at our villa, we were blown away! The view was breathtaking, and the villa just perfect. Genuinely one of the most relaxing stays we have ever had. A special mention to Rocky, who is one of the best managers we have ever encountered, incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely committed to making sure guests have a wonderful stay. We would also like to mention Angi, Aji and Eben, who all provided amazing service and made us feel so welcome. And the food! Absolutely next level, so fresh and full of flavour. We absolutely loved our stay and will return!

Honestly, there's very little we can fault. If we had to find something, the plunge pool was too cold to use, but we stayed in July when there wasn't much sun heating it, so that's not anyone's fault! It certainly didn't take away from what was an amazing stay.

The view from the beachfront villas is impressive. The villa was spacious and well-maintained, though it lacked a few minor items, like normal glasses and a towel or such in the kitchen. Sufficient potable water was provided via a gallon with a pump. The beds were magnificent.

We only had two mugs for coffee, tea, water, sodas or beers: it felt poor. Also, "normal" beach chairs or the like were missing, so you could enjoy the magnificent views from the private terrace. Only a stone sofa, which wasn't that comfortable. The food in the restaurant wasn't up to par. We had our own transport, so we could go wherever we wanted. However, if you're stuck at the resort, you might find it disappointing. The staff was great and super friendly.

Great location perched on the hill overlooking the bay and Yo-yo's surf break - truly magnificent views. The primary structure is big and beautiful, constructed out of bamboo. We stayed in Kini Villa, a 2 bedroom villa further up the hill. Even better views (if possible) very comfortable beds. nice living area. and a good sized infinity pool. the path up to the vialla was steep and rocky - great for a leg workout :) the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Especially Rocky - helped us with lots of info and asks.

Our villa needed a bit of maintenance. zero water pressure - the shower and bathroom taps were not usable so it was not possible to take a shower for the first 6 nights of our 8 night stay. Requested maintenance every 2 days to fix it - eventually fixed on 7th day. No basic cleaning equipment in the villa, could use dishcloths, dustpan/broom, detergent A large glass panel on the main balcony was blown out of its footings... it's an 8 meter drop to a steep cliff below. this was repaired within 3 hours. the other balcony railing was very wobbly & would be unsafe if you put any weight on it. We arranged for 4 x scooters for our stay. 1 was not available upon arrival, the team arranged another within a day. the scooter i used had a broken surfboard rack after 2 days - it was repaired immediately upon request. Food/Alcohol was hit and miss. Lots of menu items were unavailable, leaving limited choice. Indonesian food was great (Mie Goreng, Nasi Goreng). Kini Chef could not cook a steak to save his life. Overall the food was very expensive compared to offerings from other resorts that were close by. We ate at the sister resort, "Kirana" one night - the service was very slow (90mins+ to get first plate of starters) and the quality of the food was below expectations. the monkeys in the area are smart and aggressive. Despite latches on the fridge they managed to break in, and eat/spill food and drink all over the villa. Pay close attention to your bill - we discovered numerous changes that were incorrect and often the 21% sales tax uplift was calculated at 50%++
