I found this hotel and never knew it existed. My grandmother live 2 blocks from this place! It’s definitely a hidden gem! I have recommended it to so many people already and it hasn’t been 24 hours yet since I’ve checked out.

Lovely spacious apartment with two bedrooms each with a bathroom. Very quiet location. The pool area was great. Modern building with good security. Nice owners. There was a secure parking lot for people who used cars.
We used buses which was super easy but the buses were not often on time. Kitchen equipment is pretty basic for someone who does cook in some nights.

Clean, modern appliances, great pool area, secure, quiet.
Location required bus journey or taxi to French Quarter and Central Business District. No supermarkets nearby (inconvenient for self-catering). Would work well with a rental car from airport - car also allows easy visit to plantations.

The parking was gated.
They didn't disclose that parking prices are $28-$30/night before you booked the reservation even though they've had complaints. Of course they realized many people simply wouldn't book this place if they were upfront about it. They dont have phones, so there isn't a way to reach the front desk other than coming downstairs multiple times in the hope that someone might be there. Many times the desk was abandoned. The walls are incredibly thin and you can easily hear entire conversations down the halls.
