Villa Clementina Boutique Hotel

Exceeded expectations on all levels. Richard was a gracious host/manager. Dining staff friendly & attentive. Food was great.

From the start our experience was lovely and felt very special. We were collected from the parking by a buggy which took us to the hotel. Our room was lovely with amazing views over Lake Como and its own balcony. We decided to eat in the hotel on our first night and were given a table outside by the pool, which was a pretty setting and we had an amazing view of the sunset over the lake and the mountains. The food is thoughtfully prepared using some fresh produce from the hotel garden and delicious, so much so we eat there on our second night as well. Breakfast is equally as good with a variety of options. Both waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable, Anna made sure we had everything we wanted. Tina in charge of reception helped us to organise our day exploring the lake. Richard was so interesting to talk to and explained the story of how the hotel started and plans for the future. In the day the pool, hot tub and sun loungers all have fabulous views of the lake. Colonno a short walk down the path, that runs by the side hotel, is an unspoilt fishing village with a beautiful church and small harbour. We both agreed that the hotel exceeded our expectations and we’ve recommended it to lots of friends and family.

No complaints

We had a nice view from our room and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was ok with space for our toiletries. The pool is very nice and everyone in our group enjoyed the poolside menu. It does have parking and the phone number system to open the parking gate worked without any issues.

I didn't like the pillows at this hotel. It is mildly annoying getting from parking to the hotel. We had an upgraded room but there is a bathtub in front of the TV which made it impossible to connect my macbook to it.
