Extremely disappointing experience – I would not recommend this property
My check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM. I arrived at around 4:30 PM, expecting the apartment to be ready. However, when I contacted the host, I was suddenly told that before I could access the building, I had to go to a completely different location to complete a Face ID registration.
This requirement was never mentioned to me beforehand. I received no clear instructions or message before my arrival explaining that Face ID registration was required or that I would need to travel somewhere else to complete it.
The whole process took approximately an hour and a half. When I finally returned to collect the key, I was told that someone was waiting for me inside the apartment. I went upstairs and found a person still cleaning the apartment. It was already around 6:30 PM, more than three hours after the official check-in time, and the apartment was still not ready.
When I tried to contact the host again about these problems, his attitude was extremely rude and disrespectful. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, he blocked me, leaving me with no way to contact him. I eventually had to take the phone number of the person who was cleaning the apartment so that I would have someone to contact if there was another problem.
Unfortunately, the problems continued. The apartment had a very unpleasant smell and did not look or feel the way it was presented in the photos. The facilities and overall condition were extremely disappointing.
On the first day, there was no water for a period of time. The electricity also stopped working. When I contacted the person who had been cleaning the apartment, I was told that I needed to recharge the electricity card myself. I had to go out, recharge it and pay with my own money just to have electricity in the apartment.
This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had.
