Charming apartment on the second floor of the historic Farmers National Bank building in downtown Mount Sterling. Recently renovated, the apartment provides the comfort and amenities of home, yet retains all of the character of the original building. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and if you’re in the mood to shop, stop in to Beckhams downstairs or take a stroll down Main Street to find a variety of great shopping opportunities. Must be able to climb stairs. Located within 35 miles of Lexington and the Red River Gorge.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as a central “home base” while exploring the Red River Gorge and visiting the Ark Encounter. One of the highlights of our trip was this charming home, surrounded by historic buildings full of character and stories. On our first evening, we took a walk around town, admiring the architecture, taking photos, and reading the historical plaques.The home itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our stay. While there are several nearby dining options, we appreciated the ability to save money by preparing some meals at home and enjoying others out. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed the stay. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the kitchen. We are in our 70s so the stairs were a little challenging

We were in town for a wedding at Whitlee Springs. This charming apartment was relaxing, spacious, and not far at all from our event. Great host communication. We spent Saturday morning doing a bit of downtown shopping and every spot was super friendly. The Hub coffee was great, as was Tomatoes & Flames pizza!
Just a note that there are many steps involved in this stay. We didn’t mind at all, but if you have any struggle, it would be an issue.
Hospitable little town, great place to rest!
