The open plan design and large windows upstairs and downstairs
Bathrooms were spotless and very nice
Master bedroom was stunning
Hot tub was lovely although not so when out of it as very noisy
Lots of space to walk around and peaceful and spotless
The hot tub was noisy in rest mode, so could not have bedroom windows open as there was a loud humm, the hot tub top was very scruffy as ripped, for such a beautiful place, that’s what you looked at when sitting in TV area, shame really as wouldn’t take a lot to repair
There was no information in the property how to use cooker etc, no info on doctors etc or any welcome pack which would have been nice, the milk and tea/ coffee was nice

The design of the lodge was lovely. The view from the decking/bedroom was lovely.
Sadly the carpet was stained on the stairs and in several places in the bedroom. There were also marks in the bathroom on the paintwork. It just made the property felt uncared for and not very luxurious. There was also very basic and limited crockery and drinkware provided meaning everything had to be washed between every meal or there wouldn’t be enough.
Most places we stay there is a basic welcome hamper upon arrival, which makes you feel a little treated. This was a paid for extra, though we were gifted milk, two dishwasher tabs and a tiny bottle of washing up liquid.
Despite being self catering accommodation designed for families, there was no washing machine or washing service.
