Staff was friendly, liked the breakfast,
The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and we liked facing the mountains but was unaware of the traffic noise from I-70.

Rooms were spacious and clean
PARKING. I paid for a room and should have a 1 parking space for my car. Instead I had to park my 1 car 2 miles down the road. Each room should have ONE space reserved for that room.

When we arrived in the City of Vail we called the Hotel and they insisted that they had no reservation for Frank Forest! After attempting repeatedly to assure them (Hotel Front Desk staff) that I had prepaid for my reservation ….They actually hung up on me. ONLY AFTER traveling to the Hotel and providing them with my name spelled out in big bold letters and providing my photo I D, and a 5 minute search did they find my reservation under the name of “Frank Frank” instead of “Frank Forest”. They blamed Booking .com for tge error.
I can assure Booking .Com tge same thing I assured the Hotel…. At 83 years of age I definitely know what my name is….and it most definitely is NOT “Frank Frank”!
To top it off….the hotel would not give me the Wedding Party Rate because I made the reservation through Booking.com. I am the grandfather of the Bride…but nothing I assured the hotel would convince them to work with Booking.com to make some type of an exception and offer me the rate and other privileges of the Wedding Party. The cost difference was significant!
Candidly, tge entire experience left me with a sour taste for both Booking.com and The Ressidence Inn by Marriott! You both should be ashamed of tge experience…travel accommodations and hospitality is your primary business and combined you both failed!
Getting my reservation correctly booked and communicated between two industry giants!
