Rhodes Town can be busy and noisy and Irini’s House is on a quiet side street only a short walk from the centre of everything. Tip: use the St Athanasios Gate to get through the walls. It’s really easy to reach from the property.
There are several coffee shops close by and an excellent, popular kebab restaurant run by incredibly friendly people - it’s called Kalamata - just around the corner.
For ‘outside-the-walls’ accommodation I’d say this would take some beating.

The flat is very big, well organized, clean and also located at a very convenient area which is close to super markets, pharmacies, coffee shops etc. Irini is the best house owner we had so far. She was there for us whenever we needed something. We don’t even want to say “house owner” as we had a friend for life.

Lovely location in a quite area with supermarkets close.Easy walking to Old Town to explore.Taxi from airport was a special free treat.

私達はフェリーでトルコのマルマリスからロードス島に訪れました。フェリー埠頭まで公共交通機関が無くオーナーのIriniさんがFIAT PANDAで迎えに来てくれました。チェックインした際、冷たい自家製ゼリーのウェルカムサービスがあり火照った体に染みわたりました。
部屋はアパートメントタイプでキッチン、リビング、寝室、バスルーム、冷蔵庫、洗濯機と長期滞在もできそうです。
Iriniさんは諸々気づかってくださり、ありがたかったです。
ロードス城塞、騎士団長の館、アクロポリスも徒歩圏内で観光の拠点にはリーズナブルで最適です。
島を訪れる前に「ロードス島攻防機（塩野七生著）」を読むと市内のあちこちに有る石球の正体が判ります。
部屋に有った洗濯機の脱水機能が働かなかったのが残念。でも外干しで一晩で乾いた！
