Lala Mundi

Lala Mundi offers a unique, authentic stay in a lovely Georgian property. It is slightly off the beaten track but very accessible to other nearby locations and well served by public transport options. John was very responsive to any queries. The suite was lovely and spacious as well as having own en suite. Very comfortable bed and high level of cleanliness. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very steep narrow stairs to top floor but we were aware of this when we booked but may not suit someone with limited mobility. Brading itself is a bit run down in places but still has some great places to eat within walking distance of property as well as sites of historic interest such as the Roman Villa.

Very nice room. Good parking.

As it is an old property the stairs are difficult to access the top floor. Other floors might be better.

Fantastic art work all around. In a great location on the main high street by shops and bus stops.

Just be careful with the step narrow stairs, not advisable for elderly people.

Lala Mundi is a historical part 16th, part 18th century townhouse in the heart of Brading. It has a lovely hidden gem of a garden, with sculptures dotted around and plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The house has some of John’s interesting collection of art, sculptures, paintings and curios on display, setting it apart from other accommodation. John was very friendly and helpful during my stay, providing directions and recommending places to eat. There is a village shop next door and pubs a few metres walk. The central location is excellent.

The weather was a bit warm however John provided a fan.
