The best part about this place is its proximity to Borobudur. It was very easy to communicate with the staff via WhatsApp, when they reminded us of the check out time. They were also responsive on the messaging function on Booking.com app, when we forgot to lock the door in our hurry to get to Borobudur, which we appreciated. We were worried about food options around the area, but it turned out there was a nice restaurant (Dwanu eatery) nearby.
The bed was a bit hard for me, but my partner who prefers firmer mattresses was OK with it. It seemed to me that the mattress topper was a bit thin. We also found a small piece of fake eyelash on the bed and a couple of strands of hair. The biggest drawback was the loud noise from the surroundings. This is no fault of the hotel, but there was some event going on near the hotel on the night we were there and the noise lasted until 10pm. It ended early enough for us to sleep, but we were not able to enjoy a peaceful getaway in the evening as anticipated. My partner, who is a light sleeper, was also woken up by the 4.30am prayers, and could only go back to sleep half an hour later after they ended. Again, this is not the hotel's fault, but we hope this serves as important information people know before deciding on their accommodation.
