It was the friendliness of staff. The checking in nearer to the date of my holiday and the before hand information pertaining to the property. Where to find the key, how the alarm work, wifi password etc that was amazing service to start off with. The friendliness of the staff receiving us and being available to come back should we need any guidance. The fully fitted kitchen with all quality appliances, the standard of bedding, the qualify and amount of detergents available to manage hygiene throughout the weekend was a plus. The branded soap, shower wash, hand soap and hand wash was an extra and not expected. It was really an hotel hospitality service received. The well maintained property added to the relaxing moments. It was truly a accommodation for all types of groups. Being a family with children or couples, it was amazing. Thank you for making our weekend away a memorable time.
To be honest, I will have to lie if I mention i found fault with the accommodation.

Very good location and near to the beach and swimming areas. A very comfortable and spacious home with good beds and bedding. We enjoyed the lovely garden and swimming pool area. The Whale Coast Mall and Hermanus is a short drive from the property. There are 3-4 good restaurants in Onrus.
The management team were excellent and very friendly and helpful.
The owners of this house are staying in a unit next door and we did feel that the owner was quite intrusive at times and he has access to all the guests space while we were staying!
There is NO BACKUP POWER in this home which caused us immense inconvenience as there was a power cut (not load shedding) lasting two days of our week long stay. No lighting or hot water and the emergency torches were non existent on the first night of no power, resulting in us having to resort to candlelight!
We were unable to access any wifi which prevented us from doing any business or banking, plus no contact with our family. Very unsatisfactory!! We could only charge one phone in our car whilst it was parked in the drive.
