The location was good and the grounds and availability of games to entertain a 5 year old were excellent. The indoor games and toys were also much appreciated. We enjoyed the exposed beams and the olde worlde ambience. Overall it was an excellent weekend
We found the heating controls rather difficult and the statement that heating comes on 3 times a day without specifying timings was confusing. We were celebrating Christmas early with family and it was quite challenging cooking a full Christmas dinner as the kitchen is a little short on utensils such as roasting tins and saucepans.

Steeped in history, has been standing almost 500 years. Stunning Architecture and thatch - chocolate box pretty. Grounds were well kept and the children enjoyed boating on the pond
