It was very quirky and we loved the vibe of the cottage. The location was beautiful and it was very peaceful. Loved that fact that there wasn’t a tv,we had a great time playing board games and talking instead. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.
Could have done with a good clean, there were lots of cobwebs everywhere, some of the cutlery was dirty too. This cottage could do with a freezer as we had frozen food that we had to leave to thaw out and throw. I wasn’t aware that the hot tub didn’t have water jets,so it was essentially just a tub with warm water, I wouldn’t have paid the extra £45 for this if I’d have known.

It is a beautifully restored barn, full of charm and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, the attention to detail was superb. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at the property. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. Within 10 minutes of being there I was already thinking about when I could book it again. Having the hot tub is a real treat and the sauna and river dip was an amazing experience. Cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful location! Lovely cosy little barn, loved it.
Get the concept of the jacuzzi being fuelled by wood however was a little too much faff for us
