The top floor apartment is like a mini penthouse. We disagree with a previous review that said it's not a 180 degree view of the water as it is. Any partial city views add to the experience we thought. It also has an amazing view of Mt Etna from the terrace and bedroom. Superb apartment with nice little kitchen and ability to take the lift instead of stairs was great. The location although central is really very quiet.
The pillows and bed were not the best. We should have asked for 2 thinner pillows as all 4 were lumpy and too thick. The bed has a thick topper on top of the mattress which was also not comfortable.
Only 1 wine glass was provided which was an oversight we feel for this standard of apartment. I'll still call this apartment a 10 though as I know the host will attend to these minor issues.

We stayed at B&B Re Tancredi as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children) and had a lovely stay. Everything was very clean, comfortable and well looked after. The location is excellent for exploring Taormina, and the breakfast was very good with a nice selection. We were all very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to families visiting Taormina.

Breakfast was excellent each morning. Our host was wonderful in his recommendations for restaurants and arranging for our trip to Catania Airport. Pricing was very good, rooms were comfortable and well cleaned. The A/C was wonderful and absolutely essential considering the high temperatures during our stay.
The large bed mattress was a bit soft and slumped down in the middle. It would have been nice to have had water or juice available for the guests in the lobby / breakfast room for the afternoon, and perhaps some fruit. I realize that this is an unusual request, but it would bring the quality of our stay that much better, especially considering the heat during our stay.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast during our visit to Taormina. The biggest advantage is its excellent location – it is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The accommodation was clean, neat, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The rooms are extremely small. There was barely enough space to open our suitcases, and the bathroom was exceptionally cramped. The shower was so small that it was difficult to use comfortably. Breakfast was served in a very small dining area where guests were seated very close together, and the selection of food was quite limited.
