“Una casa preciosa con muchísimo potencial, pero muy desaprovechada por la falta de limpieza, mantenimiento y una gestió

La casa es muy bonita, amplia y está situada en un entorno precioso. Tiene muchísimo potencial y, con un buen mantenimiento y una gestión más cuidada, podría ser un alojamiento espectacular. Cap Skirring y toda la zona de Casamance nos han encantado. Es un lugar maravilloso, con muchísimo que descubrir, playas preciosas y un entorno natural increíble.

Nuestra experiencia con la gestión, la limpieza y el mantenimiento de la casa fue bastante negativa. A nuestra llegada encontramos la casa sucia y con una evidente falta de mantenimiento. El jardín estaba muy descuidado sin tener un camino definido para llegar a la vivienda y la parte trasera de la propiedad llena de malas hierbas. Es una pena porque desde esa zona se podría disfrutar del entorno y del amanecer, pero su estado prácticamente lo impedía. Comunicamos al propietario que la casa estaba sucia y, inicialmente, puso en duda lo que le estábamos diciendo. Tuvimos que enviarle fotografías para demostrar cómo la habíamos encontrado y, a pesar de ello, no mandaron a nadie a limpiar durante nuestra estancia. También faltaban cosas básicas como gas/butano, jabón para los platos, bolsas de basura y papel higiénico. Tuvimos que solicitarlas y nos las fueron trayendo una a una. Otro aspecto importante son las mosquiteras. Las mosquiteras de las camas son más pequeñas que las propias camas, por lo que no permiten cerrarlas correctamente y pierden gran parte de su utilidad. Además, algunas de las mosquiteras de las ventanas tienen agujeros. Creemos que es un aspecto que debería revisarse y mantenerse adecuadamente. Es importante saber que el aire acondicionado y el wifi se pagan aparte. Además, hay pocos ventiladores en la casa y el calor puede llegar a ser extremo. A nuestra llegada nos ofrecieron alquilar un coche. Cuando quisimos hacerlo nos dijeron que finalmente no estaba disponible porque tenía una rueda pinchada. Durante nuestra estancia no se solucionó, algo que nos sorprendió teniendo en cuenta que en Cap Skirring vimos numerosos talleres y mecánicos. La atención como anfitriones también nos pareció muy mejorable. La persona encargada de recibirnos prácticamente se limitó a enseñarnos las habitaciones. No recibimos explicaciones sobre el funcionamiento de la casa ni orientación sobre dónde comprar, qué visitar, playas, restaurantes o transporte.
