The location was ideal. Property was extremely clean and comfortable. It was a quiet area but with so much to do and visit. There were 3 bars within walking distance who also served snacks etc. The marina with plenty of restaurants was close enough but a car was needed due to the hills! We got a local taxi driver if we didn't want to drive. Madeira is fabulous island with so many things to see - hikes, lava pools, beautiful villages, amazing food, spectacular mountain drives. The pool in the property was amazing and each apt has it's own balcony/terrace/bbq. The owner was so friendly & the fruit, veg and herbs in the garden were delicious.

It's evident that the hosts have given a lot of thought to how to make the apartment as comfortable as possible. We had everything we needed. We particularly liked the private terrace with sunbeds, umbrella and bbq, outside dining area, good shower space/hot water, very comfortable bed, and sea view. Only four apartments share the pool, with outside shower, which I had to myself a lot, you can swim and have a sea view at the same time and big beach towels are provided. Also liked the effective AC, which cooled the apartment in seconds and fast WiFi. Quiet location, need a car, but bars within walking distance through the garden gate. A lovely getaway if you want some peace and quiet.
Pillows were a little hard, no umbrellas by the pool and unfortunately we were bothered by flies outside. Could be the time of year or they were attracted to my sunscreen, so take fly repellant. No cleaning of apartment during our stay, but equipment, extra towels and sheets are provided.

Mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen! Mooi schoon appartement met groot terras met buitenkeuken en barbecue. Heerlijk zwembad! We konden gebruik maken van een babybadje en fijne kinderstoel. Eigenaar is goed bereikbaar en erg vriendelijk!
Op basis van de foto's is het niet helemaal duidelijk dat er geen afgesloten slaapkamer is (de totale oppervlakte is inclusief het terras), dit was iets handiger geweest met baby. Maar aangezien we veel buiten konden zitten, was dit eigenlijk geen probleem!

Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Er hat bei Problemen sofort geholfen. Von der Unterkunft hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Es ist sehr ruhig. Die Gartenanlage ist schön und gepflegt.
Fussläufig ist kein Restaurant oder Supermarkt erreichbar. Für jegliche Aktivität benötigt man ein Auto. Zudem ist die Unterkunftszufahrt sehr steil und nur für geübte Fahrer zu bewältigen. Die Unterkunft roch zeitweise unangenehm nach Abfluss. Das Wohnzimmer ist ohne Fenster und ohne deutsche Fernsehprogramme. Das Sofa ist unbequem. Der Raum ist ungemütlich. Vereinzelt liefen Kakerlaken über die Terrasse. Man muss aufpassen, dass Sie nicht in die Wohnung kommen.
