This is a beautifully restored traditional cottage, with a thatched roof and all the required amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed. It has a nice wood stove, with wood prepared and enough in stock. The contact with the hosts went very smoothly. The house is located in the centre of Inishowen, and the main highlights can be reached easily. We hihgly recommend visiting the Doagh famine village, which gives a wealth of information on Irish history, and a very friendly atmosphere.
The cottage is located along a busy road, so you can expect some traffic noise, although it didn't keep us from sleeping. Although the fireplace was nicely prepared, we missed firelighters to get is really going.

This cottage is beautiful, cosy & in a great location. Patricia goes above & beyond and is a great hostess. All essentials are in the cottage & even extras. She always has a wee welcome pack for guests which i thought was a lovely touch & very appreciated. Beautiful log fire for cosy nights. Wifi. Theres also a seperate area for doing ur laundry. This was our second stay and we will definitely book again. Patricia is quick & easy to get a hold of if needed. I would highly recommend this little gem.
